Bird list for the area around Rio Santiago Nature Resort
The bird list for Honduras contains over 700 species and is continuing to expand as more birdwatchers visit the country and visit previously under explored areas. This especially holds true for the area around the Resort as the Pico Bonito National Park has had limited bird watching about the 1000 meter level. The list for Rio Santiago Nature Resort is just getting started so there is plenty of potential to add to this list. It is anticipated that most of the birds found in the general area will ultimately be seen on the property.
